Hewett-Kier has received many awards over the years for exemplary performance, including:

• The “Partners in Quality Contracting Award” from the U.S. Department of Commerce for the construction of the National Hurricane Center in Miami, Fla.
• Recognition for outstanding performance and achievements in safety management by the U.S. Department of the Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Navy for its work at Homestead Air Reserve Base.
• A commendation by the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration for its work on the National Hurricane Center.
  
• Meritorious achievement recognition in historical restoration/rehabilitation for work on the Ley Memorial Office and Child Care Center in Key West.
